Slow Repair

I purchased this Refrigerator 2 years and 1 month ago. It was working fine and then the condenser fan died. I call LG and they were pleasant and they said that the refrigerator was no longer under warranty ut that the part was defective and they would replace it. The had someone come out and look at it and they confirmed that the part needed to be replaced but they guy didnt have the part and that it was to be ordered. To make a long story short it took two weeks before the repair company received the part that is two weeks without a refrigerator. And I lost a bunch of food that spoiled.

I had this fridge 13 months and it stopped working. I replaced my fridge stove and dishwasher with LG. After 3 weeks a tech came out and said the compressor condenser and evaporator fan was bad. Still waiting over a week on parts and technician to fix the fridge. Average call time with LG when I call is 1 hour to get any information. Havent had a working fridge for 1 month. Regret buying this fridge.

Excellent even with failed condenser fan

Unit had occasional stuck craft ice. I was able to restore by resetting the craft ice maker. On one occasion I had to pry the stuck balls out. At 18 months the condenser fan failed. CF E alarm displayed on front screen. I ordered and replaced the fan myself after waiting over two weeks for warranty service. Overall we really like this refrigerator. Hopefully no more issues.

Love the look of this refrigerator instantly updated my kitchen A couple of issues though. Have had this for 15 months and the craft ice one of the reasons I chose this refrigerator still has an odd taste to them so we stopped using the craft ice quite some time ago. Also dont know why I didnt notice this in any of the reviews but theres no light in the bottom freezer? Dont always need a light except for an occasional night time ice cream craving to see whats inside the bottom freezer but at this price point it should have lights. No lights that accentuate the ice and water modes either just a dash under the words is lit up - very hard to see Have to turn on kitchen light to see where to press for ice or water. Rather frustrating. Otherwise it works great and looks beautiful

Nice fridge nothing special

Weve been using this for two months and while I enjoy the fridge its nothing special. I wish we would have gone with something cheaper. We could get the same space for almost half the price. The knock feature is never used you cant see past what is in the door. Ice maker is nice but again nothing special. And it takes up a lot of space in the freezer. Also the way the ice basket in the freezer is designed small ice cubes will fall out the back into the bottom when you opens and close the freezer door. The lower drawer inside the fridge also doesnt stay open so its very difficult for my children to get things out of it. Overall the fridge is okay but definitely not worth this price.

Within the first month one of the freezer door handles flew off and the black stainless scratched. The freezer space is very tight and having two freezer storage areas ends up being useless. The craft ice will not work with anything in the area of the freezer. We chose this directly from LG because of the low stock of other places. The delivery service was terrible we had moved into a new house and the delivery got cancelled and reacheduled for two weeks later without even a call. We ate takeout for two weeks. So so disappointing.

Do not buy this Refrigerator

I have had this refrigerator since March 2022 and it has maybe worked for five days. Once the repair is done it maybe works for 48 hours and it goes back to CL E. It has been an uphill battle dealing with LG
