Oven has problems

This thing has not held a steady temperature since we got it. My mom lives with us and does most of the cooking and she kept complaining that sometimes when the oven was on the cook top got so hot she couldnt touch it and that other times it wouldnt stay hot. I just thought she was just getting used to it. But no we put a pot roast in at 325 and 3 and a half hours later we had to finish it on the cook top. Veggies still hard and roast not done. Baking cookies at 325 each batch took longer and longer to cook. Last batch took 22 minutes and interior over temp was down to 260. Tech came out but problem is intermittant so no action was taken. Were afraid to use it. Ruins our food.

Very confusing operating panel.

This stove is a piece of junk Cannot hold temperature for baking turns itself off and burners are not temperature accurate. Meaning when set on low burner is almost off when need higher temperature food burns. I cannot leave stove while in use afraid it might do something wrong.We will be replacing this stove as soon as we can.

Delivery service and design flaw get bad marks.

We are liking the appliance but getting it home and the lack of cooperation from the seller have not made things easy. It seems that rather than being able to depend on the seller or LG I will be better off buying the mounting hardware for the anti tip bracket using my own money. One glaring problem with this and the other LG appliances in our household is that the displays are not backlit. To me there is no excuse for this. Considering the prices paid this is an obvious design flaw and LG could have easily been done better.

I have been very happy with my new LG oven. It was purchased as part of a total kitchen remodel and the look and function of this appliance has enhanced the entire project. One thing that I wish I had included was a heating drawer.. .not that I dont use the extra storage but I know I wouldve liked that feature too. My daughter and I have referred to the manual a lot and its been very helpful. We love how easy the glass cook top is to keep clean and use the keep-warm burner every day I would definitely buy LG again

This oven has a design flaw if the self clean is ran with the oven racks in it fractures the enamel of the oven. Small flakes of the enamel will then be transported to your food via the convection fan. LG IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE The tech they sent to my house was on speaker with the LG support tech so I overheard the entire conversation. There is no way to replace the interior panels of the range it is effectively ruined. I have reported this to the CPSC and they will be looking into this issue.

Weve been using this for a couple weeks now. I didnt even know it was convection I love that feature. My old stove took like 20 minutes to preheat this thing is so fast about 3 minutes. I havent tried the airfryer yet. Burners are hot and boil water so quickly.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. I love the features of the oven. What I dont care for is the internet connection capability. It doesnt connect smoothly and I will attempt again to connect thinking maybe its user error. Also can there be a matte finish on the stove top. Im a messy cooker and dont want to have to polish the top after every use Otherwise I am SO please with the front burner options. They can be used for small or large pots. My previous stove had one large burner up front and one large-ish burner in the back. I dont know about anyone else but my microwave is above the stove and Ive had to replace it due to the moisture from the larger pots in the back causing the computer board to short out from the larger steamy pots on the back burner. Not much to be done when you need two large burners Now I can put the larger pans causing steam on the front burners to keep the humidity away from the microwave. I also like the super boil function on the front burner. Almost as good as gas for quickly boiling. And finally I am thrilled that the fan for the convection/air fry is so quiet. I kept looking in the oven while the food was cooking to see if it was really on Overall I am pleased with the unit and would recommend it to others

Expensive to fix broke only 2 years in.

Its interesting that I was asked to write a review today of our range. It has actually been broken for the last two weeks and we have someone coming to day to replace a key part. Apparently the motherboard where all the wiring comes together along with the power cord melted. The technician actually told us we were lucky it did not cause a fire. We tried going through LG customer service what a nightmare and the referrals they made for a technician? One of the places was out of business one had a 1.8 star review on the BBB and the third didnt actually work on LG ranges. So that was a total bust. Prior to the range breaking weve been marginally happy mainly because the air fryer feature along with the convection feature did not work as well as we would have hoped. All in all I would not buy this appliance again now would I purchase another LG appliance.

My dishwasher broke. I went to Grove Appliances in Alliance Ohio on Black Friday to find a replacement. Grove was having a wonderful Black Friday sale. I ended up buying an LG range refrigerator and dishwasher. We have LG TVs and love the brand. The range is great. It has regular oven convection bake convection roast and airfry options. 4 glass top burners and a fifth burner to keep warm. Everything I need. I made brownies using the convection bake option. They turned out more moist than the ones I used to make in my old regular oven. On Christmas Day I roasted a prime rib using the convection roast option. It was delicious and very juicy. Will be using the airfry option on New Years Day to make a ton of chicken wings as I can make more in my oven than my countertop airfryer. I love my new refrigerator and dishwasher also but this email asked only for a range review. I highly recommend LG

I dont know if the air fryer works or not because lg in their infinite wisdom decided that an oven with a selling point of including an air fryer that including the air fryer tray would not be necessary. Oven walls destroyed using owners cleaning manual

I used the self cleaning function on the oven per the owners manual. It destroyed the enamel/finish on the inside of the oven. Enamel is missing in some areas. Customer Service is a joke. They put the blame on me and just say you didnt purchase the extended warranty . This oven is the tenth appliance I purchased from LG. NEVER AGAIN All they want is money. They dont care about their customers.

Customer service said this is normal and sometimes the inside of the oven can look like a square balloon causing the racks to go in at an angle. This is not only a functional issue but also a safety hazard causing burns.

Purchased along with refrigerator dish washer and over range microwave. The digits on readout on range started to flicker and then small straight mark went out. Now the microwave has started to flicker also expecting them to also go out. As far as the appliances working I am totally satisfied the digital readout makes it difficult to time anything. Also the numbers around the burner knobs are very hard to read since the background is also black.

Very unsatisfied with LGs Oven. I door broke at the hinges and the entire glass section of the stove hangs and its a safety issue with the oven. I have called several times and was told the 1 year warranty is over. It blows my mind that this issue could cause damage to my house and family as a fire may start but LG doesnt want to do ANYTHING to fix it.

Check For Damages Upon Delivery

Bought this a month ago but made the mistake of not opening it as I was remodeling the kitchen. When I did open it the top glass was cracked and LG would not do anything because it was beyond the 48 hrs since delivery. I use to use LG appliances washer dryer refrigerator dishwasher microwave but this will be my last LG purchase. Now I have to pay to have it fixed which is basically the same as the cost of the stove.

I purchased the LG set refrigerator dishwasher range microwave. We used the stove ONCE and the grid underneath the cooktop broke and turned white I put in a claim#RNN230817010427 they said that it was cosmetic and not covered under warranty???

Didnt last 18 months not covered under warranty

I bought this about 17 months ago and the display is already failing. I reset the oven and it resolved the issue for about 15 minutes before the clock display started to die again. Since the warranty is only 1 year Im out of luck. I would not recommend this product.

I have had my stove approx 3 weeks. It is very nice. As far as I am concerned LG has redeemed themselves after the Fiasco with my new TV that worked for 30 days and had to have screen replaced. My son bought this for me.

Not overly impressed. The eyes on the stove are slow to heat.even on high. The air fryer function isnt like a typical air fryer. But hey.it works.

In our previous home we had all new LG appliances including an electric range similar to this one. When we moved to Ohio my wife insisted on replacing the ones in our purchased home with LG. The range is a great product.
